May I wash the Nirvana™ Blanket?

You may easily wash the blanket after carefully removing all 11 bands. The bands are not be washed in order to preserve the natural materials enclosed. We strongly recommended washing the blanket on its own in cold or warm water.

We actually made one side of our blanket a linen-cotton blend so that your body stays cool under the weight of the blanket. We don’t want to sound silly, but you may also remove our magic-bands and cool them in the freezer before sleeping if you like to sleep cool.
One last thing… because the blanket helps regulate your body’s hormones, you will also sleep at a natural body temperature!

If we had to define the proprioceptive system without using medical terms, we’d say it’s the body’s ability to sense where we are in relationship to our surroundings. The proprioceptive system is basically responsible for helping our bodies move through space. Anytime you walk up or down stairs, go for a run, carry a load of laundry, clean the dishes, sit, stand, bend or stretch, you are using the proprioceptive system.

It’s believed that adults and children whom do not like to be touched have a proprioceptive system that is either under developed or hasn’t had time to rest, rebalance and/or rejuvenate.
